Dilip started his career with marketing at Emerck in 1971. He then moved to
working with 2 UK based firms - Gomba Group of companies and Primlaks Group of Companies as their promotional director - managing investments, public relations and business operations in India - which included shipping, waffle production and human resources consulting.
In 1978, he helped found Ambe International with his brother - Anoop Saxena. Since then he has helped build the Sambe Group into a collection of companies with a sound financial base, a stellar track record in delivery, and excellent client references.
Dilip actively manages the operations and administration of Sambe Engineers and Sambe Elelctronics. These manufacturing concerns are based 200 km from Mumbai in a fast growing industrial town called Nasik. These concerns are engaged in the manufacture of sheet metal parts, components for trailer engines, electrical regulators, relays and starters. Sambe Engineers is involved in sheet metal fabrication and mechanical components design. It designs and manufactures dies and pressed components for several companies including Le Grand of France. Sambe Electronics has been involved in manufacture of circuit breakers and other electrical fittings for nationwide sales and distribution of companies like Le Grand of France and Crompton and Greaves for the past 12 years. It holds a capacity to assemble a half of a million master circuit breaker components annually and is operating under ISO9001 certification.
Dilip has keen business interests in real estate - having completed a turnkey project involving development of undeveloped land into a series of residential row houses on the banks of the Godavari river in Nasik.
